Children's Book Collective or CBC was created for children's book authors, illustrators, editors, and contributors to have ownership, accessibility, and community during their creative self-publishing journey. In helping bring their books to life and inspiring young minds through children's literature, our organization aims to aid in all aspects of making books come to life. From book ideation, networking, marketing, content production, and delivery - we've got you covered throughout the entire book publishing process for members of the collective.

Justyna (Skowronski) Coppus is a Chicago children's book writer who entertains her child-like spirit to be curious, creative, and imaginative through her storytelling. As the second eldest of 11 children from a Polish immigrant household, her brain was always supercharged with new story ideas to share with her siblings, cousins, and the children around her. Justyna enjoys spending time with loved ones, exploring nature and new places for writing inspiration, drinking tea with a good book, and traveling around the world.
